Annual Fees

 

Annual membership fees are $50 (non pro-rata) and is used to fund administrative costs, tool maintenance, tool accessories, new tool purchases and all insurances. All Committee members and librarians are non-funded volunteers.

 

How to Become a Member

 

Visit the MADTL Library in person during opening hours and show the following to our volunteer librarians:

 

(i) Provide a valid photo ID with your current address in Mallacoota and District (i.e. Drivers Licence or this year's East Gippsland Rates Notice with a photo ID).  Volunteer librarians need to physically sight these documents.

 

(ii) Provide a working mobile/contact number and/or email address.  An email address is required if you want to use our Online Tool Catalogue. Volunteers can still lend tools during library opening hours but they cannot reserve tools for members if they are not registered online with an email address.

 

(iii) Complete a Membership and a Lending Agreement Form. These forms detail the rules and  your responsibilities as a member of the tool library.  

 

(iv) Pay your membership fee. Membership fees are payable by direct deposit to the Community Bendigo Bank in Mallacoota or in person (cash only) during library opening hours. 

 

Library volunteers are available during library opening hours to help you complete these forms and collect new or recurring membership fees.
